Vanuatu is an archipelago out of time located at the east of Australia , in the islands of Melanesia and the heart of the Pacific Ocean.
The archipelago has 80 islands , which are mostly of volcanic origin.
Vanuatu is a little known destination ... and it is like that. This is what gives it its charm.Do not tell anyone I told you. This will be our little secret to us.
Population of Vanuatu
There are about 260,000 inhabitantswhich two thirds are grouped on the islands of Efate, Santo, Malekula and Tana. This is one of the youngest populations in the world with 45% of Vanuatu's residents 15 and under.
Since the time of colonization, Vanuatu has hardly changed. The people remained deeply attached to their culture and landscapes are virtually intact.
Economy
This is the fishing and agriculture that drive most people.
