Cape Verde in Africa
The Cape Verde , off the coast of Africa in the Atlantic Ocean, is an archipelago of 10 islands , 9 of which inhabited, plus a set of 8 blocks. KPN7ZQTS94EB
It has an amazing diversity of landscape that is moving deserted beaches to lush valleys, through the imprint of colonial period architecture and the presence of an island volcano.
Here is a brief presentation of these 3 types of landscapes that can be found in Cape Verde:
1- deserted beaches
The Cape Verde beaches
The beaches of the Cape Verde islandsare rather reserved as surfing in Costa Fragata where the sea is rough.
The place is deserted and the few touriststravel to Cape Verde will find shells and turtle bones.
The beaches of Praia de Chave and Praia de Santa Monica Boa Vista are the best known and most beautiful of the archipelago. Vacationers can enjoy the peace of these places, because they are not yet affected by mass tourism.
2- The island of Fogo
The Fogo Island is home to an active volcano which rises to 2829 meters. The fertile lands around are used for agriculture, including vineyards, coffee, apples, pomegranates and vegetables.
The hikes to explore the island, and especially its volcano, are the main tourist attraction of those who will travel in Cape Verde.

3- Colonial City and lush vegetation
The architecture of the Cape Verde houses was strongly influenced by the colonial period, which will delight travelers tour in Cape Verde.

Praia in Santiago is the first Portuguese colonial city in all of Africa.
The archipelago is known for its lush vegetation , the image of the town of Nova Sintra.
Bougainvillea, frangipani, hibiscus and dragon are part of the decor of the vegetation.
Many varieties of plants provide a beautiful backdrop during periods of rain.
